Hey everyone, CanvasQuest here, and I'm pleased to share this battle map + scene art for The Keep on the BorderlandsThe Keep, with you.

Cartographer: Alex (CanvasQuest), Taco and Microscope enthusiast.

Scene Artist: Elise Drennan

Scene Flavor:

This area is miles from what most would call civilization. The terrain here is covered with rocky outcroppings and the hills are scattered with trees and brush. A small keep stands atop a mesa overlooking the surrounding plains. An ancient force split the mesa, leaving a sloped section of crumbled and packed rock leading up to one side, separated by a gap of ten feet wide at the most narrow point and seventy feet deep to tumbled, jagged stones. Across this lies the Keep’s drawbridge, a singular entrance to the fortress. In the day, down for travelers to cross and up to keep out the monsters at night. Guards watch all who arrive closely, hoping for friends, but their spears, bows, and catapults are ready for enemies.

Happy Adventuring!
