Uqtaal Necropolis - My own imagination of how it was. Indeed, Uqtaal is not really located within the Wall of Heaven at the Eastern (Tian Xia) side of the world, but I thought my players would need a consistent challenge to end their journey through the Crown of the World in Book 3 The Hungry Storm - from Pathfinder Jade Regent (1E). I truely hope you will enjoy it for your own Adventure Path.

This arrangement of battlemaps has been designed to leave just one big fight. In my adventure: the area is entirely empty, with very minimalist music, to let a feeling of oppression wash over the players. So the gate, maps A, B, C, E and the city are empty. In the city, however, players may notice that a temple has been rammed by a huge creature. Indeed, on map D, there's a Linnorm (standard, or ice hybrid version but level 14 or 15, or even 16) sleeping on the treasure it's looted. The treasure contains a MacGuffin for progress in the game. Inexorably, players (level 8 or 9) will awaken the Linnorm, which probably proves too strong for them. A chase ensues, with players having to flee the Linnorm (with their caravan and NPCs, very fragile!) through maps C, B (southern bridge destroyed), then the city. The city has been designed so that the 4x4, or 5x5, or 6x6-square Linnorm can wreak havoc while chasing the players, who do everything in their power to stop it (the city is full of little alleyways, bridges to knock down to slow the monster down, etc.). In map E, players are confronted with a closed door which they must still open, to increase the stress. The final battle, if the Linnorm is not defeated beforehand, should take place in map E (as it did in my campaign).

Uqtaal Necropolis is a megamap consisting in (by order or uploading, but you can rearrange):

Uqtaal A Entrance - 40x40

Uqtaal B Garden - 45x47

Uqtaal B Garden (destroyed bridge due to fallen rock, old bridge, monsters, whatever you want) - 45x47

Uqtaal D North of C (Lvl 15 Linnorm lair in my own game, +

treasure) - 31x34

Uqtaal C North-East of B - 40x41

Uqtaal City 1 - 30x36 (with shortcut to Uqtaal C)

Uqtaal City 2 - 28x33

Uqtaal City 3 - 28x31

Uqtaal E Temple and Tian Xia Gate - 40x40

Uqtaal Exterior Tian Xia Gate (or reverse) - 33x33

Uqtaal Exterior Crown of the World gate - 30x40

Uqtaal Exterior Crown of the World gate (open) - 30x40

I hope you will enjoy the maps.
