- Main worship room (for final boss fight or alternatively heroes can start here by entering the room from the “pipes” on both sides of the statue)
- Two story torturer’s chamber / Jail cell for human sacrifices – the portcullis to the main worship room enables the possibility for the players to enter the main room from the cellars and vice versa
- Storage room for clergy / general storage room – with a ladder to the barricades and “a small hole” behind the barrels for druids, wizards and familiars to use (the loose rubble), which leads to the armory
- Slave quarters / prison for Yuan-ti slaves or opening for possible rescue mission
- Slave master’s / Prison warden’s quarters – With a sandpit for a bed and some pet snakes for levity
- Incubation chamber for the Yuan-ti eggs
- Abomination / Broodguard chamber with sandpits for beds and some snacks. Also includes a fancy lavatory (shit pit)
- Pureblood quarters for the Yuan-ti who still enjoy the human comforts / quarters for humanoid Sseth cultists
- Main mess hall with a kitchen – Even snakepeople might enjoy a cooked meat once in a while
- Magical pool area – in my own campaign this is tied to the story of the Yuan-ti being in slumber in these pools – but this can easily be changed to bathhouse / other magical pools
- Head priestess’ quarters + Another entrance/exit – In my campaign the magical properties of the pools is created by the head priestess. The huge golden door leads to another level of the temple – but these can easily be modified.
- Vestibule for eager worshippers. Possibility to add a religion roll or puzzle with the stone tablet
- There is also one more entrance exit near the incubation chamber with a collapsed ceiling. I usually give my players the opportunity to invent a creative solution for clearing the rubble if they wish.
Thanks for the great subreddit
